Perspectives

In my artistic journey, mastering perspective has been a pivotal challenge that I approached through a combination of formal study and observational techniques. Through formal instruction, observational techniques played a crucial role in my exploration of perspective, offering a hands-on approach to understanding spatial relationships and depth perception. Immersing myself in the world around me, I observed how objects appeared to change in size and shape depending on their distance and angle of view. I trained my eye to recognise subtle shifts in perspective, studying the convergence of parallel lines and the distortion of forms at extreme angles.

Whether sketching urban landscapes or natural scenery, I absorbed the intricacies of spatial relationships firsthand, translating my observations into dynamic compositions that captured the essence of depth and dimension. Through persistent practice and keen observation, I cultivated a nuanced understanding of perspective, allowing me to infuse my artwork with a sense of realism and immersive depth that captivates the viewer's imagination.
